Follow these 4 simple steps to download and install JLR SDD software. The process is easy and efficient, and this guide works for both JLR SDD v163 and Jaguar SDD v164.
Step 1: Install Jaguar SDD Setup
Create a folder named “SDD 160” on your desktop.
Copy and paste all files from the software CD or download link into the SDD 160 folder.
Run the setup file SDD 160.00_FULL setup.
Select the setup language
Press Next.
Accept the license agreement and ensure firewall compatibility.
Choose destination folder C:/Program Files (x86)/JLR.
Select all languages to install.
Press Install and allow the installation to complete.
Install the JLR Measure Application until successful.
Complete the HV Safety Installer installation.
Install the MOXA UPort driver in C:/Program Files/Moxa/USBDriver.

Install J2534 MangoosePro driver for a 64-bit system.

Install the JLR SDD-2020 patch.
Select the Offline version to install.
Open the SDD notepad from the patch folder to get the username and password.
Run JLR SDD software from the desktop.
Enter the username and password from the notepad, then press Identify.
Successful user authentication will allow you to go to Settings, select the software language, and save.
Quit the software.
